Color Dare #66 - Gypsy & Buttercup

Congrats to last week's Twilight and Crystal Blue winners:

Hansi wins the Color Dare Diamond!

Michelle wins the Color Dare Emerald!

Katrina wins the Color Dare Ruby!

Julie wins the Color Dare Sapphire!

Such beautiful projects, ladies! Thanks for participating! Please grab your badges from the top tab!

This week, our colors are complementary:

Gypsy
Buttercup

Lesson: Complementary colors are two colors that sit across from each other on the color wheel. Here we have yellow (a primary color) and purple (a secondary color). These are usually thought of as spring colors, but it is fall. What will you come up with!?!?

Now it's your turn! Create a special project using the suggested colors (or similar ones if you don't have these exact ones), take a photo of it and upload it to your blog. Be sure to include a link to us in your post, and link your post up here at the bottom of this page. Read our sidebar for complete rules. Have fun!!!

This week we have something different for you. I will give you one color, and you pick the second color.

Cranberry

You may use any neutrals. Your second color should be one that is not a neutral.

For my card, I used Autumn Terracotta as my second color. My neutrals are Desert Sand and Bamboo. This is a cased card from Jennifer Payami. You can read more about it on my blog.

Our guest designer is Nancy Parker. She made a gorgeous card with dark green as her second color!

Now check out what the design team has come up with!

Amie Kiger - Sky

Michelle Loncar - Twilight

Carmen Mitchell - Whisper

Pam wins the Color Dare Diamond!

Katrina wins the Color Dare Emerald!

Jody wins the Color Dare Ruby!

This week we are daring you to use colors from the ProPlayer paper pack!

Outdoor Denim
Pacifica
Ruby

Lesson: This week's colors are two primary colors: red and blue. Primary colors work well when making brigh,t cheerful things. Masculine and birthday cards do well in primary colors. I made a card using the new stamp set, All The Details.

You can read more about it on my blog.

Here are some gorgeous samples from our design team. Don't forget to leave them some comments!
